WooShift
Privacy Policy
WooShift (“we”, “us”) provides the Shopify app WooShift: WooCommerce Migrator (the “App”). This policy explains what data we process when merchants install and use the App.
1. Who this applies to
This policy covers merchants who install the App on their Shopify store. The App is used inside Shopify Admin and is not a consumer storefront.
2. Data we process
- Shop identifiers: shop domain, installation timestamps, locale preference, and plan/quota metadata needed to operate billing and migration limits.
- OAuth / session tokens: Shopify offline access tokens stored so the App can call Admin APIs on your behalf.
- Migration files & job data: WooCommerce CSV uploads, analysis/healing reports, import progress, and failure logs for the migration jobs you start.
- Subscription metadata: plan tier and Shopify AppSubscription IDs for charges created through Shopify Billing.
The App does not intentionally collect storefront customer personal data for its own databases. Product content you migrate is sent to Shopify via the Admin API as part of the import you initiate.
3. How we use data
- Authenticate the App inside Shopify Admin
- Run product migrations and show progress / error reports
- Enforce plan quotas and process Shopify Billing subscriptions
- Respond to Shopify mandatory compliance webhooks
- Provide support when you contact us
4. Sharing
We do not sell merchant data. Data is processed with:
- Shopify — authentication, Admin API, and Billing
- Our hosting providers — application, database, and file storage that power the App at
wooshift.pusula.dev
5. Retention & deletion
Session and shop data are removed when you uninstall (and when Shopify sends shop/redact). Migration uploads and job records are kept only as long as needed to operate the App or until a shop redact / support deletion request is completed. We acknowledge Shopify compliance webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) as required for App Store apps.
6. Security
Traffic is served over HTTPS. Access to Shopify APIs uses OAuth and session tokens. You should keep your Shopify staff accounts secure.
7. International transfers
Depending on hosting region, data may be processed outside your country. By using the App you acknowledge this processing is needed to provide the service.
8. Your choices
- Uninstall the App from Shopify Admin to revoke API access
- Contact us to request deletion of retained migration files for your shop (subject to legal retention needs)
